Bro. Vogel
has been in the family of God for nearly 40 years and has been preaching most of that time. He earned a BA degree from Central Baptist College in Conway, Arkansas and a MRE from the BMA Seminary in Jacksonville, Texas. He has served our Lord through churches in Texas, Oklahoma, Missouri, Kansas and Arkansas. He also served as the Executive Director of the Victory Children's Home for almost six years.
He has also served the local, state and national
associations in many capacities. He is presently serving the BMA of Kansas and Western Missouri as the state Missions Director and the Bethel Baptist Association as clerk and treasurer. He recently concluded his ministry as a member of the board of
trustees for the BMA Seminary.
He has a deep love for the lost and a great passion for the education of God's people.
He has serve Grace Baptist Church as interim pastor and now
as pastor since the fall of 1999.
He and his wife, Mary, were married in 1970 and have three lovely daughters and six grandchildren of which they both love very much.
Brice Martin is one of our Church Deacons. He grew up attending First Baptist Church in Galena and at the age of 7, Brice came to know the Lord during VBS. If you have ever met Brice, you know he has a huge heart and an even bigger smile. He married Karen in 1991 and they have two sons, Austin & Lincoln. Brice loves to serve the Lord and the Church and his leadership skills have been a great assest to Grace. Besides his duties as our Church Deacon, he is currently serving on the Leadership, Youth & Education teams. He & Karen are also teaching the SR. High Sunday school class as well..
Lonnie Van Volkinburg - Deacon
Lonnie Van Volkinburg is another one of our Deacons. He's very active in our Bus ministries, making sure all of our busses are ready to go each week. Lonnie has served in numerous capacities in the Church.

Bro. Brad was born in Pittsburgh Kansas, but grew up in the Frontenac area, playing sports of all kinds. One day, while spending some time on a Basketball court with some friends, he met Joanne . They were married in 1995. They have three daughters and they are expecting their fourth child, very soon. Brad teaches the Young Adult class on Sunday morning. He recently was ordained as our newest Deacon here at Grace. Brad is a Visitation team leader and is very active in adult outings and various service projects.
Muchengetwa Bgoni - Youth Minister
Muchengetwa Bgoni was born, the 6th child in a family of 8. Growing up in Highfileds, Harare, Zimbabwe, Muchengetwa did not get saved until he was 15yrs old. By this time he had done his share of mischieve. He was known and is still known as Bouncer by people from his neighborhood.
Muchengetwa is married to Julie and they have 3 lovely daughters, Nyasha 8, Lesedi 5, and Makanaka 17months old. Muchengetwa joined Grace Baptist in May of 2005. Muchengetwa has help plant 3 churches in Zimbabwe. He is hoping to go back to Zimbabwe in the near future and do church planting, orphanages, and fight against poverty. He loves people and his favorate game of football or soccer as some might call it. He graduated with a degree from Ozark Christian College in May of 2007 and he plans to do his Masters Degree in the near future.
Pam Hatcher - Church Secretary
I started as secretary for Grace in August.
My husband Jason and I have been married for 5 years, Dec. 31 2002. I was born and raised in California then moved here in 92, Georgia in 94 and back here in 2003. I have 3 children, Chelcee is 16, Tyler is 14 and Jordan is 8. All my family are here in MO now. I serve on the Youth Team. I have been teaching the Jr. High class for about 6 months. I like to read and be with my family.
